General CommentsAt time of inspection, EHS observed proper elevation and separation of stored food throughout the facility, with the exception of one stack of boxed frozen food items within the walk in freezer, stored directly on the floor. PIC elaborated that these items were separated out for donations. As these items are not to be sold, their storage is not subject to required storage parameters in terms of elevation. However, it is the recommendation of the inspecting EHS that food being held for donation be distinguished more clearly from food being held for resale, potential by marking the boxes with visible labeling or location signage within the walk in freezer.
