15A NCAC 18A .1826(a) Hand washing sinks as required in Rule .1825 in this section shall be supplied with hand soap, and either individual, disposable towels; a continuous towel system that supplies the user with a clean towel; a heated-air hand drying device; or a hand drying device that employs an air-knife system that delivers high velocity, pressurized air at ambient temperatures. Observed no soap or paper towels present in employee restroom of laundry room and no paper towels at utility sink. EHS advised that facility designate one of these sinks as the hand washing sink for the laundry area and provide soap and paper towels at all times. Ensure employees are trained on washing hands between handling dirty and clean linen. |

Observed cleaning needed on the arm of the desk chair in 313. Observed several desk chairs in rooms throughout with damaged sides. Observed re-caulking needed on back splash in restrooms of 422. Observed ceiling tile metal on 2rd floor with rust and discoloration. Ceiling is to be redone. Observed AC unit vents in 116 and 102 with rips. Observed transition missing where carpet meets tile in 208 and 302. |
