15A NCAC 18A .1826(a) Handwashing sinks as required in Rule .1825 in this section shall be supplied with hand soap, and either individual, disposable towels; a continuous towel system that supplies the user with a clean towel; a heated-air hand drying device; or a hand drying device that employs an air-knife system that delivers high velocity, pressurized air at ambient temperatures. Observed no handsoap or hand drying device at handsink in laundry room. Points not escalated due to improvement from last inspection. There is now a handsink in the laundry room and each housekeeping cart inspected during time of inspection had handsoap for workers to be able to wash hands after removing soiled linen from room. |
