15A NCAC 18A .1825 (c ) A handwashing sink, located to allow use by employees handling clean and soiled linen, shall be provided. This requirement shall be effective one year after the effective date of this Rule. 15A NCAC 18A .1825 (c ) Facilities that do not have handwashing sinks in soiled linen areas shall not be required to install additional lavatories if a hand hygiene program, approved by the regulatory authority, is used.
Observed no hand sink in laundry room. Facility was established prior to the rule change the requires hand sinks in laundry room however facility does not have a hand hygiene program in place either. REPEAT VIOLATION |

Observed door frames to entrance of rooms throughout facility with chipping paint and chipping/peeling wood. Observed popcorn ceiling in room 15 in need of minor repair over bed.
