Observed apples offered out in the front of the facility to still have the stickers on them. Fruits with edible skins shall have the stickers or labeles removed as the stickers can harbor contaminates. Items with edible skins shall be wrapped in plastic or provided with other means of protection from contamination by the consumer. Items such as oranges or bananas with inedible skins do not need extra protection as long as the skin is left intact. |
