4-203.11 Food thermometers shall be accurate to +/- 2 degrees Fahrenheit.-Pf Observed food thermometer off by 6F during calibration with EHS thermometer. CDI - PIC took this thermometer out of service and placed new one in service. EHS reminded PIC to ensure calibration is done frequently and thermometer taken out of service if calibration fails. Also, clean thermometer probe before and after each use to avoid buildup that could impact the reading. -.5- |
