General Comments

During inspection EHS observed that hot water at the hand sink comes out of the faucet at 144F. EHS had a hard time washing hands due to how hot the water wash. A hand sink shall be equipped to provide water at a temperature of at least 100F through mixing value or combination faucet. EHS recommends that water temperature be turned down slightly to encourage hand washing amongst staff. EHS did not observe handwashing violations today but hot water at 144F may deter staff.
