4-101.11 (A) Food contact surfaces shall be made of safe materials. - P observed a copper spoon being used as a melon baller. Due to the acidic nature of fruit they cannot use copper due to the risk of leaching. CDI-PIC voluntarily discarded copper spoon and gave them a new hard plastic spoon. |
