3-602.11 Food Labels. FOOD PACKAGED in a FOOD ESTABLISHMENT, shall be labeled as specified in LAW, including 21 CFR 101 - Food labeling, and 9 CFR 317 Labeling, marking devices, and containers. Observed OutTakes sandwiches, parfaits, salads, and so on packaged and available for customer self-service. Packages were incompletely labeled - missing complete ingredient list, weight, name and place of business of manufacturer, and allergen information. Discussed at length with PIC. Refer to rules listed above for guidance when reworking labels. |
