2-401.11 (A) Employees shall eat, drink, or use any form of tobacco only in designated areas where the contamination of exposed food, clean equipment and utensils, and other items needing protection can not result. Observed one (1) open chocolate bar wrapper stored on freezer shelving above exposed, cooling queso sauce. Observed no contamination of cooling food. CDI - PIC voluntarily disposed of improperly stored employee food. REPEAT.
Note: No escalation in point deduction due to noted improvement from previous inspection; employee drinks were all stored in proper locations wherein contamination of clean utensils, equipment, and food could not occur. |

3-501.17 Date mark/label all TCS foods that are ready-to-eat once opened or prepared and held more than 24hrs. -Pf Observed one (1) container of corn salsa in WIC with no date mark. All other items were date marked accordingly. CDI - Chef found bin of corn salsa prepared on the same day at point of preparation cooler, prepared on 05/31, and date marked WIC container to match accordingly.
