These items are given a "Use-by" date on the package sold to consumer as 10 days from day the package of ham is opened and glazed. According to PIC, this is a corporate standard. PIC showed EHS a chart that explains hams are given a 7-10 Use-by date. Hams used exclusively for sandwiches sold in restaurant per customer immediate order are used within 7 days. EHS requested additional information from corporate representative to further explain date marking process. |
