Per management, the walk-in freezer has been serviced multiple times for the ice buildup; however, the issue with ice accumulation has not been completely resolved. Except as specified in paragraphs (B) and (C) of this section, food shall be protected from contamination by storing the food: (1) In a clean, dry location; and (2) Where it is not exposed to splash, dust, or other contamination. EHS advised management to have staff store boxes of food in areas of the walk-in freezer that are not directly underneath the ice accumulation and dripping condensation from the condenser pipes in order to prevent contamination.
