7-204.11 Sanitizers, Criteria - Chemicals (P)
Chlorine sanitizing solution stored in a chemical spray bottle measured 0 ppm.
Chemical SANITIZERS, including chemical sanitizing solutions generated on-site, and other chemical antimicrobials applied to FOOD-CONTACT SURFACEs shall: (A) Meet the requirements specified in 40 CFR 180.940 Tolerance exemptions for active and inert ingredients for use in antimicrobial formulations (Food-contact surface sanitizing solutions), or (B) Meet the requirements as specified in 40 CFR 180.2020 Pesticide Chemicals Not Requiring a Tolerance or Exemption from Tolerance-Non-food determinations. Chlorine sanitizing solutions shall measure between 50ppm-200ppm.
Sanitizing solution was remade and measured with test strips kit 100ppm. CDI.

*** Observed Lemon Scent bleach used to prepared sanitizing solution. Chlorine used for sanitizers solutions must have a chlorine content of at least 5.25%. Splash less bleach, scented bleach, Awesome bleach, and or other similar bleach mixtures shall not be used and are NOT considered approved for sanitizers. *** |
