The person in charge shall be a certified food protection manager who has shown proficiency of required information through passing a test that is part of an accredited program. PIC stated they had registered to take class but could not get into the class when they were scheduled to take it. They reached back out to Serve safe and got scheduled for a new class and are waiting for new class to take place.
47 0 Equipment, food & non-food contact surfaces approved, cleanable, properly designed, constructed & used No No No COMMENT: 4-501.11 Good Repair and Proper Adjustment - Equipment (C) Observed missing hood light, ice buildup in the walk in freezer on shelving under condenser, and the ice machine out of order. Equipment shall be maintained in a state of good repair and condition. PIC stated they have an electrician scheduled to repair the hood light and they have repairs in progress for the ice machine.
